Wrecked movie car sold to fan

The sports car, which was wrecked during the filming of the new James Bond film, The Quantum of Solace, has been bought by a 007 fan for thousands of pounds.

A stuntman accidently drove the luxury Aston Martin DBS in April in to Lake Garda in Italy, smashing it to pieces and leaving it deemed as being unfixable.

Six Aston Martins were used on set during filming, however this particular car, worth £70,000, was subsequently submerged in water.

Daniel Craig, who has spoken of the sale, has said the money was made for by selling it for approximately £200,000.
