Which add ons add value to your van

If you’re looking for a new van it pays to check what optional extras that you’re looking to get to maximise the potential trade in price in the future.

The auction company BCA has come up with a list of extras that will not only make it easier to sell your van when the time comes but also enhance its value to potential customers.

Some extras are essential in getting the full price at trade in whereas others are a bit more of a luxury.

Those that are necessary are ply-lining, can add upwards of £100, and side loading doors that can add from £150 for one side door or £250 for twin side loading doors.

Other extras that can add value are Factory fitted sat nav, £100, parking sensors, £50, alloy wheels, £200, metallic or gloss paint finish, £300 - £500, and aircon, which is fast becoming necessary, £100-£200.
