Volvo looks to develop the next best commercial vehicle

Commercial Vehicle owners who are looking for a lighter vehicle maybe happy to hear that Volvo are looking to release a lighter commercial vehicle, without affecting key characteristics, such as the carrying of larger loads.

The vehicle which is being developed by researchers using computer simulated research are looking at implementing thousands of design alterations to reduce the weight of the vehicle without compromising on its performance in a bid to release the next best van.

The lighter vehicle, which crashworthiness won’t be affected according to Volvo technology’s project manager, has still got to come along way before it hits our roads; In the mean time commercial vehicle owners are veering towards the new Citroen Berlingo 725 L2 Crew van, which provides a variety of uses to its owners.
