Vehicle fraud worth hundreds of thousand of pounds
A 53 year old man has been arrested as part of a major investigation by Holbeck CID in to alleged motor sales fraud after they found the logbooks and keys for hundreds of vehicles and a number of speedometers and cash after raiding a caravan park in Gildersome. The man, who was arrested on suspension of fraud, has currently been released and bailed, however the police are currently trying to trace back the vehicles, which are believed to be worth hundreds of thousands of pounds to see if they have been purchased illegitimately or used to fund crime.
