Van insurance figures drop as customers reluctant to spend more money.

Recent figure have shown that the number of people looking to insure their van after buying has fallen last month.

The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) revealed that registrations where down 20 for the year and 58 to that of the figure of this month last year.

The chief of SMMT Paul Everitt said that as a result of the economical downturn the commercial business is in a low.

Mr Everitt has pleaded for Government help and has added that he needs it as soon as possible, if the manufacturers are to make it through this economical downturn.
