Van driver hits paramedic

A paramedic who suffered a serious shoulder injury has received £62,856 in compensation.

The ambulance was hit whilst going through a green light as they approached a junction by a speeding van that went through a set of red traffic lights.

The van crashed into the passenger side of the ambulance causing serious shoulder injuries to the passenger side paramedic.

The injured paramedic had to undergo two shoulder operations and is still unable to carry out normal everyday tasks & has had to be put on light duties at work.
