VW Golf Pirelli relaunched

Volkswagen has now launched a new version of the Golf GTI Pirelli to celebrate its silver anniversary of when the original was first launched.

The Pirelli, which is featured on the current Golf GTI, features more of a powerful engine than the GTI, up from 197 – 227bhp, this cuts the 0-60mph time from 7.2 to 6.8 seconds.

The Golf GTI Pirelli will be available in 3 colours, Diamond Black, Blue Graphite and Reflex Silver. It has been fitted with unique five spoke 18inch alloy wheels and Pirelli P-Zero tyres, half leather sports seats, smoked rear light lenses and many more style changes.

Prices will be staring from £22,555 and rising to £24,385 with the option of a DSG semi-automatic gearbox. The car is available to order now and first deliveries should be expected in June.
