Speed cameras blamed for increased accidents

Road safety chiefs have been blamed for accidents that were caused by speed cameras. Authorities have been forced by motorist campaigners to release accident figures under the freedom of information act. Campaigners believe that authorities that are putting up speed cameras on Britain’s motorways are putting innocent lives at risk to make money. Research has shown that road accidents have had a steady increase in the last five years since the introduction of speed cameras on the motorway.
