Rally jump record - dont try it at home!
A world record has just been announced but car insurance policyholders are not advised to try and beat it as their chances of ever getting another cheap car insurance quote will be severely tested! During the 2010 Rally of Turkey in April Sebastien Loeb 'yumped' his Citroen C4 for an amazing 85m. This has just been announced as the longest jump in World Rally Championship history. Loeb said: "It was an incredible sensation as we were up in the air for several seconds. Not for a moment did we imagine that we would jump so far." As we said at the beginning this is not something to try at home. The French driver now holds the record for the most wins in a rally series (six out of thirteen) so he has a lot of experience. And he probably doesn't have to worry about losing his no-claims bonus and not getting a cheap car insurance quote either.
