Production line slows as car manufacture decreases

Vehicle production seemed to have slowed down in may to a 6.1 year on year decline.

According to the latest figures May’s car production has dropped by 7.5 although commercial vehicle seems to be staying at the tip with a rise of 4.4.

Year to year the volumes remain positive by being up 66,332 over the same month in 2007.

The outlook for the vehicle industry remains optimistic with a strong demand in new key market areas.
