Peugeot launches new lightweight commercial vehicle

The all new 5-seater van has been launched by Peugeot after reporting a 23% rise on its year on year profits during October. The van gives the option to either fold the seats down to increase the amount of space available to store goods or with the seats up it can be converted to carry up to 5 passengers.

The van boasts a 1.8-meter load length and a storage volume of up to 3.3 cubic meters making it a perfect Lightweight Commercial Vehicle (LCV). The van comes equiped with twin sliding doors and when paired with the loading space can be classed as a van rather than a car, which will allow commercial vehicle drivers to claim back the VAT.

The release of the van comes in good time for the commercial vehicle market as retailers have reported a rise in the number of vehicles sold over the past months.
