No surprises for Fleet News Awards 2008

The annual Fleet News Awards took place on the 10th March 2008 with all major van manufactures being short-listed.

Known, as the UK fleet Industries equivalent to the Oscars enthusiasm was high.

Volkswagen started the evening off, winning the Best Small Van award for their Caddy for its superb build quality, proven reliability and fantastic values. The Transporter and Crafter were also short listed for the Best Medium and Best Large Van awards.

The Ford Transit was awarded the Best Medium Van award, offering a good range of size and spec options.

The Large Van Award went out to the Mercedes Sprinter for yet another year. This prestige van offers high quality and the van of choice for courier fleets.

The results of the awards reflect the reasons as to why the Caddy, Sprinter and Transit are vehicles of choice for couriers and hire companies as well as the commercial vehicle user, with such reliability and competitive resale values.
