New car uses less power than a hairdryer

The latest in technology has been created by Cambridge university eco racing team.

Cambridge University has come up with an energy efficient car that is light on petrol and light weight to maximize its aerodynamics system to minimize rolling resistance. The cars maximum speed is 60 miles per hour and uses 50 times less petrol all on the same amount of power as a hairdryer.

Transportation accounts for around 35 percent of the uks energy and by introducing a low carbon vehicle it will demonstrate the enormous potential of electric vehicles.

Other vehicles that will soon hot our streets are wind powered vehicles which are currently being designed. The new innovation in modern technology could save us a fortune on petrol and could prolong our environment and have a huge impact on climate change.
