Morgan goes green for the future
The Geneva motor show will be the venue that Morgan shows of its new lifecar. A new high tech, environmentally friendly, zero emission concept vehicle. They may be one of the smallest car companies in the world but that hasn’t stopped them from trying to demonstrate that a zero emission car can be fun to drive. Morgan are hoping that the lifecar, styled on their Aero 8 model, will have a range of 200 miles with a full tank of hydrogen, whether that be liquid hydrogen like the BMW hydrogen 7 series or compressed gas like the Honda FCX Clarity is still to be decided. The design is far from the adaptation of a current car design to accommodate a hybrid power system, rather the car is designed around the hydrogen fuel cell and power train, that should help keep the cost of the fuel cell down and keep the car competitive in the market place.
