Lorry demo fuel party

Hundreds of lorry drivers are in protest because of the soaring petrol and diesal prices in the UK at the moment.

A convoy of protesters are parked up blocking the A40 into London and then joining the rest of the protesters in the city centre. They then made their way to 10 Downing Street with a petition whichn was handed over yesterday at 2pm.

Police were ordering the lorries to return home before the busy rush hours of Tuesday morning and some did start to move at 3pm.

Across the whole country convoys of lorries were making their way to London blocking roads everywhere.

The justice security Jack Straw stated that he understood the lorry drivers concerns but he then replied with “government revenues have to come from somewhere”.
