New figures show that one in three vans brought in the UK last month was a ford. Last month, Ford sold 10,136 vans in the UK meaning that 28.8 of vans sold in March was a Ford. This is the highest figure archived for the company since 2000.
Ford of Britain commercial vehicles director Steve Kimber stated, “It is further proof that, especially in the current economic climate, operating costs are at the fore of everyone's mind.'
The recent high in the sales market comes after a report published by the Society of Motor Manufactures and Traders claimed that commercial vehicle insurance policy holders are unwilling to buy new models.
