Leyland's vehicle museum has increased efforts to boost visitors and revenue for its commercial vehicle museum. The museum is hoping for a prosperous 2010, after already having received 14 bookings from schools and colleges, with a couple of extended visits also booked for next year.
The museum hopes that by introducing a calendar into the public as well they might increase recognition, therefore boost visits to the museum. They have also urged those looking for a career in engineering to come to the museum saying that it is a great educational visit.
Steven Bullock the trustee of the museum said: "We've really tried to push the museum hard this year and plans for next year are going really well. We thought we'd try something different this year and have produced an exclusive calendar, only 100 of which have been printed. They're a real collectors item."
