Clean me signs are a thing of the past

Long gone are the clean me signs which we once saw on the back of the white van mans vehicle after a survey shows that van drivers are spending on average 42 minutes every week to keep their commercial vehicles clean.

The research carried out has shown that out of 2,000 vehicle owners, the unsuspecting van man cleans his vehicle more than the average car driver in a bid to give their commercial vehicle a professional look, rather than the dirty van man we once knew.

Needless to say the cleaning of their vans is only restricted to the outside of the vehicle, with only 18 percent tackling the crisps packets and half eaten sandwiches in the interior.

One task that van drivers are neglecting is the cleaning of their windows which is minimising their visibility. This could lead to a serious accident and void vehicle insurance claims.

Insure My Vehicle provides commercial vehicle insurance to UK tradesman, providing insurance to continue your business without any unwanted mishaps.
