Bad storm causes damages to cars

A North Devon seaside town, Ilfracombe, received such bad weather that waves were becoming so high that they were damaging cars and flooding an unattended car park.

The waves from the storm caused thousands of pounds worth of damage to cars that were in the car park, including many with body damage and at least on being written off.

Devon and Cornwall police had to warn car owners to stay away from the area and did not re-open until 10am on Thursday morning.
