Abergavenny in Monmouthsire is the latest town to be victim of a major car theft where 10 vehicles were stolen from a secure compound near the Nevill Hall hospital.
The car owners will be making multiple claims on their vehicle insurance to try and recover some of their losses caused by the large theft.
Although three vehicles have been recovered in nearby Blaenavon, police are appealing to the public for any witnesses of the event to step forward to help them in their investigations.
The heist, suspected to be part of a major organised criminal outfit, stole a recovery lorry to aid in their getaway, loading up the reaming stolen cars before driving between Llanfoist to Blaenavon, where police spotted the stolen truck.
In a scene reminiscent of any quality police show, officers confronted the stolen lorry whilst the theft was taking a place and suffered a minor collision with the vehicle in their pursuit. Officers sustained minor injuries in the call of duty when the collision took place on Union Road in Abergavnney.
